Banteay Srei

I’m on a carving kick lately, so here’s more photos from our trip to Cambodia, this time of a Khmer temple dedicated to Shiva — Banteay Srei. It was built in the 10th century out of red sandstone, a material that allowed the intricate carving that you can see today:
