A few days ago I posted “old walls” inspiration photos whittled down from hundreds collected over a year of blogging and planning to paint the India apartment. These photos should keep me focused because as we all know, there’s an endless number of ideas in this world! But most homes do not have an endless number of walls. Too bad about that, huh?

I love how these look old and although mostly monochromatic, there’s so much interest and texture. You can stencil not only on walls, but on glass, mirrors, floors, ceilings and textiles. Visit Design Amour to see gorgeous examples of stenciling. I hope to someday be that good!
