Travel journals should never have empty pages.
I’ve been downright domestic lately — on many levels — and can take it only so much longer.
The lock on travel must be unlatched:
The anticipation of the journey ahead rising, as the cover is flipped open:
Hopeful pages await the stories to unfold:
There are many pages to hold stories stitched in this book. This book that remains closed … for now:
And that is wanderlust.
On my very short list right now: India (of course!), Istanbul, Tuscany (again, in the fall next time), Morocco, Myanmar, Indonesia.
What’s on yours?
Istanbul is divine! Try to go to Cemberlitas Hamam for a scrub. Totally worth it!
Thanks!! I will add this to a list of stuff to do. Because, I WILL go. Whenever, sooner or later. I’ve heard too many people rave about Istanbul to not go.
The aladdin hotel in the middle of the city (euro side) is lovely. Tiny, close to everything. Nice people.
