Do you cruise the real estate sites so you can peek into homes? Did you know there’s a site with properties for sale in India where you can fantasize about a vacation or a pied-à-terre?
I usually visit Saffronart to see art, but noticed there are properties listed there too. Like this home with a view in Goa:
Whoa, see this indoor/outdoor space also in Goa:
This modern home is a 10,000 sq ft “farmhouse” on a property with a working organic farm and mango orchard:
Would you believe this home faces a clear blue stretch of the River Ganges? Well it does:
Here is the home’s pool:
For a very different setting, here’s the living space with a curvy staircase in an apartment in Bangalore:
This place is called Portuguese Country Villa and isn’t it charming with little out-buildings around the pool:
Some detail showing style of the home:
A terrace from a home in Mumbai:
Even the kitchen opens to the outdoors:
Just a glimpse of a villa in Goa – doesn’t it make you want to see more? And no wonder, it’s designed by Tarun Tahiliani:
So cool, a chalet in the hills of Tamil Nadu:
A city apartment in Chennai:
The outdoor deck of another house in Chennai:
This home has an indoor sunken courtyard, a feature of South Indian traditional homes:
Which is your favorite? I like the Tarun Tahiliani space.
OH MY GOSH. These are just gorgeous. I wouldn’t turn any of them down, but the one on the Ganges definitely speaks to me.
This makes me want to find more luxury real estate websites in different countries. Nice to see the architecture and decorating.
Wow! These indian houses are gorgeous. I love the spacious rooms, big windows and high ceilings where air can circulate. It gives a feeling of calmness and peace. These are inspirations.
